About The Kinetic Medic
The Kinetic Medic covers new prehospital technology, rescue tactics, regulatory change and EMS history, written for field medics, firefighters and agency chiefs. It is a publication, not a protocol. Read it the way you would read a colleague who has done the homework and shows it.
Who writes it
Jonathan B, a career paramedic. Every article is written in his voice and signed off by him before it is published.
Editorial policy
- Every clinical, tactical or regulatory claim is tied to a primary source: a trial, a guideline, a regulator's own page, a standard, or a manufacturer's label. Each article ends with a Sources section listing them.
- Nothing is published without the author's clinical review. Drafting tools may help with research and structure; the judgment and the signature are his.
- Regulatory articles carry the date they were last checked. Rules change; the date tells you how fresh the reading is.
- Corrections are made in the article itself, with a note at the end saying what changed and when.
- Educational reading, not clinical direction. Follow your current protocols, your medical director and your local guidance.
